Applying in Spalding County

Start the application online
Georgia’s probate courts take applications through the Georgia Probate Court Manager site. Fill it in before you go anywhere — you will need the confirmation number when you arrive.

Go to the court in person
Spalding County Probate Court. You must live in Spalding County to apply here, and you will need a non-expired, government-issued photo ID showing your current Spalding County address. You must be at least 21.

Get fingerprinted
Where this happens depends on the court — some take prints on site, some send you elsewhere. There is a separate fee. We do not take fingerprints here, but we can point you at a local partner who does.
