The Process
Three steps to pick-up

Choose Feather Arms
At checkout on any website, list Feather Arms as your Federal Firearms Licensee. If we’re not listed, pick “My dealer is not listed” and email us from the contact page with your info, order number, shipping store, and a description of the firearm — we’ll send our FFL to the right place.

We Receive & Notify
Once your firearm arrives, you’ll get a call, text, or email letting you know it’s ready. Note: a carrier “delivered” notice doesn’t always mean it’s immediately available for pickup — wait for word from us.

Come Pick It Up
Stop by during office hours with your ID. We’ll run a quick background check if needed — usually under ten minutes, at no charge — collect the transfer fee, and send you home with your firearm.
Before You Arrive
What to bring
Everything a pickup requires is short and simple. Bring the items on the checklist and you’ll be out the door quickly.
For those without a valid carry permit, a NICS background check is run on-site. It usually takes less than ten minutes.
Please Note
We don’t charge for background checks. Payment for the transfer is due regardless of the result of the NICS check. Fees are exact-change cash prices; card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) carry a 3% fee.
Valid Georgia photo ID
Must show your current address. Required for every transfer.
Carry permit (optional)
A valid Georgia Weapons Carry License is welcome but not required.
NICS background check
Required for anyone without a valid carry permit. Runs on-site in under ten minutes.
Payment — exact change
$20 per standard transfer, $75 per NFA transfer. Background checks are free. Cash preferred; cards accepted with a 3% fee.
